Hello Friends.

After much worry and way too many drafts, I am here on Substack to share my business with you. I will be publishing my personal essays— light and honest writing about what I see, what confuses me and makes me laugh. Also!! Bringing you all the muffins and bagels in the land, I will offer a series of posts for my West Wing peeps. You can’t get enough, I know this, so I will be going through the show and sharing my thoughts, memories,

and whatever comes up from watching my annoyingly young face and the brilliance of my friends.

I’m doing this because so many of you have shared what a salve the show has been, especially now. So let’s dive together into fiction because the real world, well, sometimes a girl needs a break.

With my West Wing posts, you will be able to comment and share some love with me and each other, creating a community of Wingnuts. A guy on my plane the other day told me he met his wife at a West Wing watch party, and while I can’t offer you a spouse, I can offer a place to commune over your shared obsession. Because come on, you’re a little obsessed.

I am going to do my best to post once a week, but because I have teenagers, I may be sucked in to the darkness occasionally, unable to make it to the surface. But hang with me. I promise, this will be fun.
